A section titled Paranormal Christian Fiction might be hard to find in your local bookstore. While a number of religious authors have included supernatural phenomena, that is probably not the norm. But Mary Ann Poll dives headlong into a modern-day finding-God tale with barely-seen demons whisping (and whispering) through a town in the middle of a divisive church upheaval. Navigating this murky mess is Kat, a wonderful character made of equal parts ice and fire, her extended family members, and her FBI agent adversary turned suitor. The situation gets worse before it gets better, but it is fun to see her, and them, navigate the process of wrapping their heads around the situation they are in: this is no ordinary string of murders...and it will have no ordinary solution...
